A child of ('Rijnveld's Early Sensation' x 'Finland'), 'Spring Dawn' is the second earliest daffodil in my field, second only to its parent 'Rijnveld's Early Sensation'. Typically it is in full bloom about two weeks before most daffodils have even emerged from the soil! So early, so bright and cheery, and unlike its early parent that frequently succumbs to freeze damage in our climate, 'Spring Dawn' seems immune. Highly recommended!
