Hard-to-find jonquil from the late American daffodil hybridizer William "Bill" Pannill of Virginia, who also brought us 'Yazz' and 'Chromacolor', among many other fine exhibition daffodils. Unlike 'Yazz', 'Rising Star' is much taller and takes on a richer pink color in the coronal. Clumps beautifully. Exquisite in arrangements. Special.
