Product Details

Strictly a garden flower, this classic Dutch "weatherproof" daffodil was commercially popular in the United States in the 1960s and 1970s, before disappearing in the trade. Considered commercially extinct for years, it was rediscovered in the garden of the late Barbara Knell of Carthage, Missouri and has since been redistributed among gardens and growers. The coronas open vibrant red-orange, but they are not sunfast, akin to 'Professor Einstein'.  It is no less charming.  Special.
