A lovely poeticus daffodil from Cornish daffodil hybridizer Ron Scamp. Atypical of most, the flower's red rim rim is so quickly fleeting as to lend the appearance of a golden-yellow-cupped poet. In warm seasons the red is never visible to begin with (second image). Tall stems are produced in abundance, making this an excellent cut flower as well as strong garden subject. One of our favorites.
