A classic from 1966, this is perhaps the most awarded of New Zealand daffodil hybridizer Spud Brogen's many introductions. All these years later it is still popular on the show bench. In ideal seasons the flowers develop a gorgeous band on the flattish corona (upon opening, the coronas can be almost entirely shaded golden orange, as seen in the second photo). Highly recommended!
